does anyone have a tool to adjust tein coil-overs

does anyone have a c-spanner for adjusting tein coil-overs?

my coilovers are too low and i just want to make them a bit higher but i dont have the tool to do it as i brought the car with the suspension already in it and the guy didnt have the tool either.

would anyone be kind enough to let me borrow their tool to do this. I can adjust them at your place or wherever you choose.

i imagine that other brands would work....probably your best bet would be to buy one through autolign 8) they are tein distributors

Firstly, don't call them pigs, we have several police officers that read the forums... Have some respect.

Secondly, it shouldn't be sitting 80mm off the ground wound up that high... I agree that your springs have been cut How much more thread is there above where it's sitting at the moment?

i have pulld them apart to see what was up with them and they dont look like they have been cut i wana get them up to 100mm so i can get it certed they might just be really old teins.

by the way sorry to all the police officers reading this for my misjudgement in using slang language

You can get it certed below 100mm as long as you've got enough suspension travel.

The 100mm rule only really applies to lowering springs as you can't go lower than that without a cert (as you mentioned). If you've got coilovers (and so need a cert anyway, no matter what the height) then you might as well go lower than 100mm if you want!

Of course if you think 80mm is too low and you're raising it for reasons other than legality, then ignore my post and go for it heh

Any motorcycle shop will have the adjusting spanners, as most jappa bikes have adjustable rear shocks.

also, a number if toolmakers do the spanners, including Teng, Stahlwillie, Kincrome and King Tony.

Your Local Autostop branch (teng Distributor) should be able to get them for you.

They're in there dont worry. the very tight wound thin spring at the bottom. Doesn't look like you have a keeper locator in between the coil and keeper though. Might wanna buy some new spring seats/platforms too

if you measure the diameter of the nut you should be able to buy the C spanners from any engineering supplier.

I would help you out but i sold my Teins with an EF9 attached
