    B18C block with B16A head

Hi guys. I am looking at buying FAiled's integra off here to turn into a speedway saloon. It is running a B18C block with a B16A head and itr cams. Can someone please explain to me what the benefits of running this setup are? and will it run fine on the factory B16A ecu or will i have to up grade?

    Cheers
    Kyle

Search my son, if you dont, people will abuse you, then you'll get frustratred and make some threats, then get banned form the site forever.

All the information you can possibly think of is already mentioned on HondaTech and probably every question you can think of is covered too.

Thank you for your reply. I have tryed searching but can only find similar threads that do not really anwser my question.

If someone could anwser my questions it would be a great help but if not thats fine.

Also another question haha.... What would be some easy bolt on parts to get the car going better.
I used to race a CRX with a B16a it it around the dirt track a few years back but things have changed now. In ordered to be competitive you have to spend more money. I guess any motorsport is like that though.

better flowing head stock for stock, and the ability to run a better stock intake manifold

as for bolt on parts a search will defiantly help you for answers.

An ecu that runs a b16a and one that runs a b18c are different. That much should be obvious. How different? I dont know. The more bolt-on parts you use the better off you are with tuning the engine.
