Just done a ZC swap to B18cr
Getting no sparks in any cylinder but strong cranking
Things i try
* Different ECU
* ~~~~~~Distributor

What else could stop the spark signal?
You have got all the engine sensors plugged in correctly?
EL2 Streetbeater in the making...
133.6 dB @ Phat SoundsIt's not the greatest, but it's a start...
All the earths?
helpppppppppppppppppp plzzz
uppppppppppp
What engine loom are you using?
So you are using all B18cR stuff? Engine, loom, ecu?
EG civic?
Your ignition coil may be faulty. Test the resistance.
I have a DC1 auto ~ zc engine change everything to type R
all dash loom as well lol.
no signal coming thur the dizzy looms when i crank the engine? or it only suppose to have signal when engine actually start?
What i test is put a spark plug in to the coil lead and touching the tip to the ground no sparks coming from any where.
Just wondering is there a fuse or relay stop from firing??
I'm sorry but I'm not mechanically minded and I'm not too sure what the facepalm is for???
I'm having the same problem here, little to no spark from dizzy, replaced coil from my old dohc zc engine, it was a direct replacement and I knew it was working before. The new engine I've put in (B18c) into my eg is cranking strong but there's just no spark???
It has brand new spark plugs, tried 2 sets of leads, I have an AUTO ECU which I'm wondering may be the issue??
Brothers the mechanic but he's more mechanically minded than auto electrician, so he's not 100% sure if it's the wiring or what.
I've also put some new fuel in thinking it may be because it was diluted or something, but doesn't seem to have helped.
If anyone could help that would be appreciated, even if you need to look at it in person, would be great.
Thanks.
There is also the ICM in the dizzy which can stop spark. Try that too. In an auto ecu you need to bridge something in the circuit board. Google it.
The what? please explain I'm not really familiar with cars
^ search man, Have a look through here
Next time you should give us the full story. The main fuel relay is the most common faults with a Honda that doesn't supply fuel.
I'm no mechanic but my brother used to be and he has said that my fuel and all the related parts (main fuel relay etc) are all fine, but I'm still getting no spark. I had the car started at one point after re-doing all the wiring, it was really rough, and has the engine light on constantly. I did a CEL check and its pointing towards 23 which is Knock sensor. I'm going to be getting one of these soon hopefully, however would the faulty knock sensor be the culprit?? I mean why is the engine light on constantly?
Tried 2 dizzys, 2 p27 ecus and one p29, new spark plugs, 2 sets of leads....
Not too sure what else do to..
So are you getting fuel? Or spark? Or neither?
A faulty knock sensor won't stop it from starting. What engine/chassis/wiring loom/ecu are you using?
Got all the earths attached in the engine bay?
