    CL1 EuroR clutch

Just came back from a road trip today drove about 300kms without any issues. Parked the vehicle at home for about 3 hours and then wanted to take car out again but couldn't shift gear. Clutch pedal is soft. I can shift the gears when the engine is off. If I put it in any gear and hold down the clutch pedal and ease of it then the car just goes.

Really low clutch fluid issue? Don't know where to look as I seem to have misplaced my car manual CD but popping the hood I can see the reservoir nearest the car's right suspension is empty.

Must say I this is one thing I've never really checked before. Would I have damaged something?

You might have developed a leak, fill up the reservoir and see if you can see it leaking from anywhere along the clutch line (pretty easy to tell, just follow it from the reservoir you're talking about). Also check for leaks at the MC itself by checking up under the dash to where the clutch pedal connects to the MC pin.

You also could have popped a seal in the MC. But it definitely sounds like a fluid problem if you have none in the reservoir, obviously.

I'm gonna go with a stuffed Slave Cylinder, Fluid will be built up behind the rubber boot on the end.

yeah, thinking if the slave was that stuffed though the fluid would be pissin out the boot not still captive and if the piston was siezed youd have a rock hard un movable clutch pedal though it could just be sticky

BUMPing an oldish thread, having a similar problem, clutch pedal feels real soft. wont engage, after a few attempts it works, and after some driving its fine.
Checked reservoir and it was pretty much empty
Have filled it, but looked under the dash and there was thick black fluid squishing out of the master cylinder (i think), right where the pin goes into it.
Rekon a rebleed would be required?, do i need a new cylinder or can/is it a possibility that it can be repaired.

Yeah my wifes CF4 had both the master and slave cylinder go from having no fluid. The mechanic had to get them both from Honda as BNT didn't do them and it was about $330 for both.
    EDIT:
    Honda Parts Direct Retail
According to that the retail price for the both is $500ish

    Re: CL1 EuroR clutch

yeh checked with BNT theyv only for the repir kit for about $40 odd, and yeh honda seems to be quiet a bit more. Im hoping the slave is still good. Car drives sweet, just in the mornings afters it been sitting for a while theres no pressure on the pedal. Talked to strongs, they got one for 100, so gonna get that and hopefully can change it myself lol.
