Creating negative camber on the front with a EF9

    Hey

i got an EF9 race car and had recently crashed (hit back at 190kph) and had it repaired (yes) and now the camber on the front is a bit flat, i already have a camber kit for the rear and nobody sells kits for the front for the EF9 so i thought about modifying the wishbone to get some negative camber.

has anyone done this it would be of great help

    thanks

Or you can slot the top arm, or oyu can cut a piece out of the top arma nd shorten it... don't tell anyone if you use these methods....

I've been trying to find a decent kit to do the same. All of the kits that i have seen are for removing negative camber after you lower it, ie a range of -.75 to +3deg. As i want to put the camber on but keep it at the current ride height they arn't much use but haven't found an answer yet.

I am sure you can get the Ingalls kits to add and remove camber, i remember reading the specs and seeing both + and - on some of them. Admitedly they are not for huge amounts of correction as your guards are quite close, and i would not use them for any sort of racing as i have read that they can move.

What about the whiteline offset bush style http://www.whiteline.com.au/whatsnew.htm? Does anyone know if there are any local suppliers of these styles?

Do the replacement A-arms not add and remove camber? If you are planning on racing it they would be a more relyable option?

you mean they don't do any to add camber to the EF, cause they definately do camber correction ones.

Sorry, should have checked that site better, it is not the one i was thinking of ops: . I can't remember who does them but there is some who produce replacement offset bushes for your upper a-arm to induce the camber one way or another. Maybe someone else knows who?

EF and EG suspension is virtually identical isn't it? I mean i have EG struts in my EF race car to raise it and thats all gravy, and i have some billsteins off and EF in my EG and thats all gravy too. I'd think that the top arms and everything else should work so just use an EG kit if there aren't any for an EF.

SAS=? and no EG or EK arms wont fit EF i spoke to Evan (speed factor) and he said that the camber correction kits are weak for street use and trust me what we're using it for is not where near street use.

If people could please tell websites that have camber correction kits or a shop, would be much appreciated.

    thanks

SAS = Phone book . . . they are a suspension bush & componant supplier, I think they are only in the yellow pages though under SAS Manukau or North shore. I called them about camber kits but they aparently don't have any for the EF suspension, in fact they didn't seem to have much at all or even seem to want to try when ever i called them. Might have to give them another go if they do supply whiteline.
