Help wanted to do a tiny drilling job

Editing past thread for a new request.

Just need someone to help me drill a 20mill hole in an alloy pipe. My biggest drill bit only goes up to 12mill.... Would b awesome if someone in the east/south auckland area can spare 5 mins of their time tmr morning to give me a hand.

    Cheers!

I had a look in that.. was thinking if the 90 degree bend is tight enough. But never the less, it is a good idea Keep you updated mate !

That 90 Degree bend on trademe looks about as tight as you will get it. Any tighter and you might aswell just cut the pipe at 45 degrees so its at a right angle.....which would mean it wouldnt flow as nice as a sweeping bend.

But going by your dimensions, that seems to be the only option. Most fab shops would do that for a 24 pack

Another reason being that my drill isn't powerful enough (drill keep getting stuck) n that I don't have a proper vice to secure the pipe.. I m a not a good DIY guy

Spray the pipe with CRC whilst drilling with 20mm holesaw (assuming its a ali pipe) the CRC will act as a coolant and lubricant.
Stand on the pipe with one foot and put light pressure on the drill, will be done in no time
