oh crap plague I have to knock 3 seconds a lap off my time in order to keep up with you. What assists did you have on when you did that 1.35.88?? My best is 1.38 with only abs.

The 1.35.88 is with ABS and braking lines which are my two normal assists. Don't worry my best with only ABS is a 1.38.xx
I'm quite pleased considering the entire time I've been playing forza (1-4) I've always had braking lines on. It's a completely different experience with them off IMO.

Sweet man, cheers. Ive been using forza paint since Forza2, If you want something custom just message me what you want, or i can gift you something to alter yourself. I never sell designs or decals unlocked but ill gift to NZH members no problems, Im more than happy to do custom work so long as it doesnt end up on your own SF for sale. Honda conversions are a favourite of mine,... also the VK and VN conversions looks sicko in game, note the chrome window surrounds, bump mouldings, door handles, head and tail lamps etc.

Hi there Forza minions. I have converted to the darkside. GT5 became very bland, very fast.
And have to say confidently that Forza 4 is the best driving sim I've played on console thus far.

If you are keen to join the race on Monday night I suggest you play some of the campaign using Honda's to get your affinity to at least level 4 (free upgrade parts on Honda's) and some cash to buy some car's to modify.
I hope you enjoy the experience there's a lot to this game especially with tuning and driving with all the assist's off (in time)
If anyone needs in game credits, set up an auction on a random cheap car for 1 million and ill buy it. easy way to gift money

Sofar i have my honda down to 1:37 and iv only just started tuning.... need more tuning!. Oh and i ONLY race with ABS.

Whats everyone racing? Im using an nsx but might try the s2k as it has a 50/50 weight distribution.

I have been using both an NSX and s2k, but havnt really settled on one yet. the NSX handles more predictable, less random spin-outs so far in it
It's really hard shaving the last few seconds off. I think the most important thing is to be consistent rather than purely the fastest.
So far have tried CRZ, Mugen Civic R, NSX, S2K. CRZ just feels wrong I can't get the handling right. The NSX, Civic and S2K are all very close when tuned and driven right.
Are there any modifications that MUST be done, i.e are we going to say that you MUST have a rollcage, to emulate real life a wee bit, or is it just free-for-all?

I've just been using a CTR, guess i should test out some other cars and see how they compare. See how the Mugen Civic R or s2k goes
Managed to get my NSX down to low 1.37s, its got heaps left in it i just need to string together a good lap and dial in the suspension and ill be good to go!

Built a S2000 and did a few test laps, 1.36:0 so far but needs a few adjustments.
Edit: got the S2000 down to 1.35:2, still a bit left in it.
The NSX's are much easier to drive though, more traction, better braking/cornering or though the S2000 is quicker in a straight line.
Not much diff between the old/new NSX, the new one i did a 1.34:6 and the old one is my fastest clean lap so far with a 1.34:40
