Lol deceptive title, thought it was gonna be another n00b asking a question that's been asked a million times, but that site looks like a great idea, is it your idea?

Have you asked one of the mods/admin/committee if you could advertise your business on here first?

payload.co.nz is a random dead Mitsubishi link?

I take it, its a similar idea to what they have in the UK where its kinda of like a reverse auction to see who can offer to move goods from point A to B for someone for the cheapest price?

Could get exploited a bit by people moving illegal stuff i.e stolen parts / drugs etc.

Cool idea though hope it works out

The same thing that is stopping trademe members not keeping the goods you have just paid for! we also have 3 types verification system and a feedback system with other verification opportunities there. read this http://www.payload.co.nz/safer_communities.aspx

If its the same thing that trademe uses, it dont work! twice ive bought stuff from trademe paid by credit card and had it never arrive. And all trademe could do was delete their account. Couldnt even legally give me the sellers details for me to pursue getting my money back.
I now only by stuff off trademe that I can pickup and pay for in person.

You must be using a very old browser, maybe at work or something? Clear your cache or download chrome - it looks much better on chrome anyway. But this is something we are working on

We have not seen any other ideas like it, including UK - there are some over there but they are about freight/courier companies whereas we are about people like you and me, who just have personal transport and who go places with some spare room in the back. In addition, we don't have classified listings, once you create a listing our site automatically matches you with any other listings in your defined area around your origin, destination and along your route. I encourage you to sign up ($10 free credit for a month) and create a trip listing to see how it all works.

Lets hope not - we will be watching closely though - just remember what you describe could happen with a courier company too

Thanks for all your questions and feedback
