Didn't think there were any official images of the S III yet? Kind of disappointed they'll most likely be running with the quad-core 4212 chipset when the dual-core 5250 chipset is miles better. But I guess time constraints are working against them to get the 5250 into the phones in time for a Q1 reveal.

Well my Desire S keeps shutting down when trying to do pretty much anything tonight...new phones are looking better and better!
Surprised no one has posted this up yet: http://www.htc.com/nz/smartphones/?i...|mwc|learnmore
Pretty standard HTC look, pretty standard hardware upgrade, however, I'm going slightly sour on HTC. It's not because of their devices being shit, it's because I want them to be more open with the dev community so we can get better firmware quicker. I don't understand their logic, bigger dev community = sell more devices, but meh. I'll be purchasing pure Google for my next device...
Nexus?
Circle Jerk Crew!!! Two many awards to list.
Yep. Or what ever the next one is when I plan to buy.

Anyone else going to grab one.. I got rid of my ipad2 this evening in preparation for iPad3. Just hopefully I'm in a country that has them on release day.

I personally don't think any iDevice announcement is going to be anything to go gaga over until they open the OS up to the user more. Each release it'll still be slightly smaller frame, slightly bigger screen, some shitty gimmick like Siri, and some slight UI tweaks. New hardware? Sweet, but for what? Nothing revolutionary.

Apple can GTFO
Im confused. Why should they have to?

Screen looks mint - Aside from that not really a game changer apart from what they've already done previously. As soon as someone jailbreaks iOS5.1 I'm going to grab an AppleTV3, will still consider an iPad...
I was surprised there wasn't a Siri emphasis too.
I'll re-quote this:
Pretty much exactly that. Brilliant Retina display and a better camera, but nothing else that makes it desirable over the competition. After being such an avid netbook/Android user for a while I quite enjoyed using my parents new iPad2, but after a little while it just felt totally lacking... like a giant iPod touch. In fact, they are selling it to get a Samsung tablet. I'd like to see them use the size to it's advantage, and make it a legitimate netbook/laptop alternative.

Decided to root my sensation tonight. Tried installing Android Revolution HD but couldn't ever get it past the boot screen for some reason. I gave up in the end after many many attempts, checking I haven't missed anything (though I might still have) etc. Installed LeeDROiD instead which worked first pop. Might give InsertCoin a try another time for some Ice Cream Sandwich action.
^-- I'm running Android Rev HD. What radio did you flash?
The recommended one (11.69.3504.00U_11.22.3504.07_M). Just used ROM Cleaner to remove all the bloatware LeeDROiD doesn't remove - works a treat.
I'm also running Android Revolution HD on my sensation - as off yesterday, and it seems to be going well. I chose Insert Coin first, and that was great too. Tried CoreDroid but didn't like the look of it at all and couldn't be bothered changing themes so that didn't last long haha. I think InsertCoin was a bit faster than android revolution HD though!

Went to transfer some photos off a mates 4s tonight to list on Trademe, couldn't figure out for the life of me how to Bluetooth them directly off the phone to the laptop. Or even to MY phone.
Turns out you cant export files via Bluetooth on an iPhone.
Who the fuck does that?
Even my shitty Nokia brick workphone allows Bluetooth connections to other devices for file sharing.
