You think car racing is fun... try going down a river stuck in a plastic tube dodging rocks... even I ask myself why
GP is ok, but then you hit the 2k stuff and get to have some mean conversations with all the pretty lights![]()
I apologise but I seem to have misplaced all my Hondas...
Update:
Ok so I got up at 6am this morning, drove to Wellington in the WORST traffic I've ever seen. Not busy, just brain-out drivers. Don't get me started. Anyhooo...made it to the house, got all set up, spent the next 9 hours in the sun painting, up and down ladders etc, then drove to work at 7:30pm, dumped some stuff there and drove back out. Missed the bus for the ride back in by exactly one minute, so I decided to walk back to work. 3km. In my steelcaps.
Now I'm going to sleep on the couch at work and head back up there tomorrow morning for another 9-10 hours of painting before driving home to the Bay tomorrow night.
I'd call a Wellington SOTMM but I'm buggered.

Living the dream
Nah Marc will come along and say how he spent Saturday night getting loaded, banging strippers and woke up in Brisbane or something.

WellI did the mrs's work do last night...corona/steak/sausages
No strippers or chance of a bang tho![]()
Last night: poker night. Went pretty well, up until about 2.45 OTP and playing cards, was good.
This morning: down to Ashburton with my father in law to the pistol club, which was good. Had a shoot with his .44 percussion revolver - a black powder muzzle loader. That was cool. Big cloud of blue smoke and flames erupting from the barrel and heading down the range, an almighty boom... like holding a particuarly small and portable cannon in your hand! Ripped a fair hole in the target too...![]()
efsi: What's wrong with a 4AGE? They're good engines
spooner: They have a flat spot from 0 to 8000rpm.

Put all my interior, sounds and back seats back in, cleaned the black paint off my wheels and cleaned the car inside out. No alcahol this weekend, liver doesn't know what the hell is going on.

Last night: Work farewell party for me and 3 other guys @ the hot lesbian workmates place, got loaded, fell asleep @ 3am on a beanbag on the deck under the patio heater, woke up being kicked by someone so threw them off the patio onto the driveway.... turns out he was a workmate and I may have slightly fucked him up
Today: Slept off the hangover, cleaned out the garage of all my shit and burnt it (god I love fire!) and about to head to the parents for roast dinner!
Everything in moderation, except Spamcrew
Last night: Not sure.
Today: Sore head
Worked on car, Saturday. Celabratory drinks after.
Family time Sunday then axed a bunch of trees.
Gave daughter a bath. She shat in it. Took her out, she shat on the bath mat, FML.
Took Miss to the playground yesterday arvo so that Mrs could have a mental health break.
Re-learned an old, hard lesson: You slide down the pole much faster when it's a bit damp.

Yes I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is to see you.
Weekend went according to plan. Slept and worked. Didn't get outside apart from walking between my carpark and the office. Now, a week off!![]()
