Thread: Hi to all from a Kiwi now living in Aus. (that means I'm supposed to be neutralised)

Came to Aus 'cause cars were cheaper and newer over here then (1986) and a few years later the NZ govt did the dirty on me and let in all the nice Hondas. Now it's Aus that's got the car fleet that's old and prices high. But I've got me a couple of Gen2 ED9's (one on the road and one for future project), a DA9 auto for a hack, a 91 GA2 City 5spd (not on road at the moment) and an EG5 auto hatch.

I'm a member on crxaustralia.com and a number of other forums, have gotten to know a couple of members here as well, so hope I can get to know a few more and share info and knowledge between us.

Here are some pics of a few of the hondas I've had/have, starting with the Gen2 CRX.


Now has DA9 Teg seats fitted (trial fit photos, and is also waiting on front and rear camber kits from Hardrace. New Kuhmo KU31' 205/50x15's also fitted since)


White painted interior parts have yet to be restored as well.

Won't bother with the the DA9 hack, not particularly photogenic even though it's got low K's.

P.S. the bronze CRX in the background behind the white one was an EF7 I picked up for parts, (now scrapped after divesting it's parts). Got a good ZC and box out of it, EF8 front knuckles and brakes and lots of other stuff. Front chassis boxes were substantially cracked, underside had all the floor stiffening channels flattened and gaps between door glass frames and roof could be opened and closed by jacking it up onto stands under the jack points and letting the weight of the motor hang.
