    tuning a dohc zc

ive been talking to a few people and they say the only way to go really is something like a link to tune my zc, its got billet cams, i/h/e, adj cam gears, ported and polished and skimmed head, knife edged crank, lightened, polished and shotpeened rods and bigger pistons. it runs fine on my trademe special chipped pm7 but get chronic overfuelling in the higher revs... basically im asking if theres anyone that can tune a decient chip for my ecu instead of running a link and getting a full tune... thats a little too expensive for me right now

Convert the car to obd1 which is actually really easy and get an S300 Hondata. You could either tune in welly at speedtech or tauranga at speedfactor.

Sounds lke you have a beast of a zc there, did you build it or is it Hamish's old engine (trenchrat)

BRE doesnt do pm7 AFAIK. go for turboedit
Sometimes when I'm driving my civic, I turn off the radio and listen to the exhaust. On those days, I pop my collar extra hard so those who are deaf & waiting at the bus stop can visually see how hard my shit is.

Buy my OBD1 ZC dizzy for sale on the buy sell forum and re-pin your ecu plugs to OBD1 and use Chrome and an obd1 ecu like a P28 or somthing.

i see nothing wrong with using your existing ecu, socketing it and getting it tuned with turboedit. sure you can do alot more things with a link but realistically how many of the extra features are you going to use?

sounds nice dude should go good. yeah we prefer hondata for the light mod'd cars at our work for tuning, we use the links for the turbo hondas more of the features needed.

the chip will have a base map burnt to it that will be made for the mods done to his car the he would need to get it tuned to ensure it is correct
