After having the MIT/KiwiMotoring Honda Civic completely repainted on the outside, inside and underneath, it was time for the students to move on to the next stage of the Certificate in Motorsport (Level 2) course - Engine Construction and Operation.

Great progress has been made on the MIT/KiwiMotoring Honda Civic over the over the last few weeks, so I headed up to Auckland to have a look at the nearly completed roll cage.

My car currently has a 1.5L injected non-VTEC engine, but I have the option of sourcing something else, and the students will rebuild and install that instead (provided it's not too complicated).
It's still a wee way away before the engine gets attention, but time flys by pretty quickly,
Here's another update for the KiwiMotoring/MIT Honda Civic project, and once again there has been a slight change of plans after it was discovered that the rust in the black car was worse than expected:
