    Humming from tweater

I have a humming from my tweater in my fusion powerplant components
You can here it if you turn the music down, it doesnt sound when the h.u is off. Its only the left side, im thinking it might be the component, i wanted to ask some people first before i pull it out. Its difficult custom install, (done by me so not so pro haha)
    Running off amp not h.u
    Thanks guys =)

It sounds like interference on that particular tweeters cable. Id be looking at the cable run from crossover to that tweeter and make sure it's not running over power wiring, etc. It may also be the amp to crossover wiring too, the crossover doesn't know the difference between noise and music.

    Re: Humming from tweater

make sure RCA cables going from headunit to amp are not run near power wire.
Check ground connection of amp is solid and to the car chassis.
Check speaker wires from amp are not run near power wire.

That should sort it, but then again you may be picking up on alternator noise that you hadn't noticed earlier purely because the signal wasn't being amplified.

This means IT IS due to inductive interference caused by a speaker wire or rca being to close to a power wire. way to fix this is either to move the speaker wire/rca further away from any power wires
