Thread: Honda Cup Round 4 - Race 3 video

Hi guys

Here's a video of the Handicap race (race 3) from the Supertourers round of Honda cup this weekend just gone. It was a bit of a messy race, with 2 people crashing on lap 2, which resulted in the race being red flagged and then being restarted under the safety car.

I managed to get a good restart and was third until the 2nd to last lap where i got in the lead on the front straight. Coming into turn 1 I was given a tap from behind and had to dial opposite lock 3 times just to keep off the wall. Don't know how but I kept it off the wall. Bit annoying but hey that's racing. I ended up 5th in that race which i'm damn happy with!!

haha as you can see Mr Bush, clear overtake and then onto the racing line, then boom

Haha the 'HEY' was because Gary passed me under yellow but after he let me back past the hand gesture was one of thanks, not 'wtf'

I've only got races 1 and 3, missed 2 because Tyson forgot to push the record button and missed 4 because it ran out of battery.

You are indeed correct. I then let Mr Harker back through but when we lined up on the grid again the marshalls told me to go in front of him, so I did.

Harker was going so slow it looked like he had a mechanical . Yellow means no passing not slowing to a snails pace !!! I would have done the same thing .
As the start order was set from the lap prior and set by the marshalls Brent did the correct thing and took the starting slot indicated

Some real improvments in both the car and driving and great to see a bit of aggresion as the confidence builds .
