    1994 Accord Bushing quiery

    Hi guys,

I need to replace my rear lower suspension bushing, the one that the bottom of the shock bolts into. But seeing as I'm replacing just two bushings I might as well replace the rest seeing as I'm going Nolathane or something similar.

So I'm ust wondering if there is a part number or dimension list on the bushings required for the suspension in a 1994 Honda Accord (CD8 Coupe).

Or if someone can point me in the right direction as to where to acquire some decent bushings for my car.

    Thanks in advance.

Try your local branch of BNT (Brake AndTransmission). I use them often for bushes and other various parts for work ( im a mechanic by trade) they should be fairly helpfull in finding the right part for your car, if you give them the model nmber or even sometimes with only the rego. They will be able to tell you how many options there are for your particular year/model or if you need to measure it, theyl even tell you where to measure. Those guys should be able to make it easy for you.

Nolathane dont list any bushes for CD* accord.

So yeah try BNT or George Stocks as they might be available in another brand of bush like Super Pro or Prothane.

Or Talk to the guys at Racelign ( Autolign Mt Wellington) as they make custom nolathane bushes on site.

Awesome!! Thanks guys, BNT is literally just around the corner from me so I'll give them a go today.

Also, have ya'll dealt with these people before? http://www.tasauto.com/
The seem to have a great product range for Accords only and the pricing seems to be quite fair, just unsure about shipping.

Went BNT, Repco and SAS and none of them had the part I wanted listed. Getting pretty frustrated. Really don't want to get an original Honda rubber one.

Are you talking about the lower shock bushes ??

Hardly matters what you replaces those with but usually they will take a generic bush of the right size rather than needing a model specific part AFAIK.

As far as the rest of the car goes CB accord shares the same suspension (struts) so its possible other aspects work as well....worth investigating as super pro list bushes for them.
