Thread: Would 15x8 0 offset fit ef8 crx?

Hi everyone,

Have searched nzh but cant seem to find the answer of the question.

Asking on behalf as a friend has received a good price on a set of 15x8 0 offset wheels for his ef8.

Has 195/55/15 which i know are to big for the car considering the wheel

I understand he would need rolled guards and adjustable camber arms.

But would the wheels be ok for his car?

Any opinions asap would be helpful

Just answered your own question.

So would changing the tyre size to a smaller profile etc make the wheels fit the car?

Do the measurements and compare how much further out the 15x8" will go than the current wheels.

yes as well as rolling the gaurds etc.

You may not need camber arms, just a damn good rolling, trial and error really.
But as always you have to make them fit, they wont just bolt on and drive on outta there.

Can get some mad tyres too at the mo, 165/50/15

Prettymuch anything (within reason) can be made to fit, all depends how much effort they want to put in to it.

Here's a pic of one of an ED9 with 15x8+25 offset (post #198) fitted with 195/50 tyres. Guards have been rolled. 0 offset would push your rims that 25mm further out. (ED9 and EF8 have the same guards)

Internet makes it too easy. That link shows you what you need to do. IMO, unless you're going to do it properly, it just ends up looking half ass and like a rollerskate (see second car in that link above)!

i have 15 by 8 with a 15p on my ef9 and they only just fit. im running -4.3 camber in the front and -3.9 camber in the back so u will some how have to find anther 15mms somwhere. if u get camber arms they will fit but it will be heeps of - camber

i've got 15x8 +25 with 195/55 on my 1st gen crx
standard camber and the tread is just inside the guards. would assume the later crx to be very similar
0 offset would need a lot of camber

Will let you guys know if he goes ahead and gets these wheels
