why? its obviously wheel spinning so it isnt up to speed in the gear. if he changed gears he would bog down hence sitting on the limiter till the cars speed catches up with the wheels speed.
Judging by he look of the car he drags at the strip too so he probably know what hes up to.

Spends too much time on limiter. If he has wheel spin problem should set up launch control raising RPM control in crome gold.
That way it would limit the speed the revs climb in 1st gear and 2nd gear if needed.
Or just launch it in 2nd gear to start with.

Why not? A rev limit is designed so the limit happens before anything could break, for all we know his limit could be at 6000rpm which is safe.
You could have a built motor and a limit of 9000rpm and it will last a long time.

lol at the noobs in this thread thinking its too long on the limiter and to launch in 2nd haha.
I'd say he's got it pretty close to perfect with leting first gear 'run out' before shifting. Its definatly a good launch, I can see from the pixels and i've seen alot of launches in my time.
But shit i'd much much rather take the Corvette - so hot in white too. I bet while the EG's fan boys are climbing in the car and holding onto it while he attempts to warm up his tyres that the guy in the vette has the aircon going and listening to some sweet jams. The EG is probably full stripped haha!
