might want to ask H1REVS as he owns a NZ-NEW DC2R

from what i know and have seen:

    - 260kph Speedo vs. 180kph on JDM
    - Optional Yellow Recaros
    - Front End
    - Rear Tail lights
    - Rear Wiper

AFAIK, the integra Type R-X is just a luxury version bought out in year 2000 (full option)

The NZ TypeRs have 141kw ~ 190hp which is a little less than the JDM TypeRs.

I think they also came with 16inch wheels not 17s.

Personally I think the round head lights on the typeR look better than the square ones.

hmm is there an official information abt the NZ new Integra typeR DC2?
and what makes the NZ new 10 hp less than the JDM ones?where did the exrta 10hp came from for the JDM one? ^^ also does NZ new has the 96spec ITR gearbox ratio or the 4.7 final drive 98spec one?thx

the nz one is like the USDM one, it will be a b18c5 which has less compression than the JDM version because of octane ratings etc. so 10 less HP

  15. #15
the colour of the rim depends on the colour of ther car to there are 3 different 98specs colours...white,bronze,gun metal
Vtec-Technology is the only replacement for displacement

    you are half right.
NZDM has 10hp less, but the engine is not a B18c5. it is a B18C7.

the main reason why JDM cars have more hp, is because they are designed for higher fuel octane.

hmm but i thought nzdm ITR uses 96spec cam? and that's why it's 10hp less?this is wat i got told from H1REVS which owns nzdm ITR

so after all...the 10hp is bcoz of the compression or the cam?

ok even if it does use a 96 cam, it has 10 less hp than a JDM 96ITR
    so it will be pistons.

the NZspec has 98spec cams. ive checked on the computers at honda. same part number as the JDM 98 spec.

its probably rated 10hp less because of slightly lower compression and fuel map.
