    Which Auto Electrician?

Theres a few electrical faults in my car:

    1. The rear taillights seem really dim including the brake light but not the indicators.

    2. The passenger side front indicators sometimes work and sometimes doesn't.

    3. The one headlight is really dim.

I've checked all fuses and they'll OK, just wondering which Auto Electrician you guys would reccomend me to go to, I've had some bad experiences with one a year ago and don't wanna go through that again.

They are hugely expensive (read $75 per hour) but I've had good experiences at Honda Newmarket.

If you go there and don't want your car blasted by a high powered water hose (ostensibly to "clean it") before your car is reviewed by one of their technicians make sure you tell them "not to clean" the car before you hand it over to them.

Honda New market, thats where I bought my car, their service is terrible. They NEVER fix the chasis number of my car that they entered wrong regardless of how many times its caused a problem and needed me to go out to the car the get the correct number. I wanted to fill my coolant, and they had to drive it in, park it, then open bonnet to fill it up, no only that, they then drove it out and away somewhere. I MEAN GOD DAMN IT, JUST POUR SOME IN! When they finish your car, they leave it somewhere else and dont tell you its done until hour or two later. I HAD TO GO UP AND ASK CAN I HAVE MY CAR NOW.. I AM LIKE SITTING HERE WAITING AND I SAW THATS ITS ALREADY FINISHED.

If you don't feel like paying someone to do it check these things first...

    1. Loose connections onto the dim lamps, or high-resistance earth. Check lamp connections aren't corroded, and they sit tightly against the lamp itself. Check the chassis earth at the back of the car to make sure it isn't corroded to hell and back, and that it is tight.

    2. Loose connection onto the lamp, make sure it's clean and tight.

    3. Either the lamp is nearly dead, or you have bad connections/HR earth. As for #1.

It is worth checking these things for yourself, as they don't take long to do, and can save yourself a fair number of pingas.
