You misspelled 'paid'
How are our numbers looking now? I'm keen to go for a burn around the track!

8 confirmed, still need at least 12 more to go ahead. I'd strongly suggest that if people are 100% keen they should email me even if they can't pay before the 4th. If I don't know you're keen then I don't know how many people are coming!
Who cares how fast or slow you are? You're racing yourself.
And I'm in! Paid this morning.
Pretty excited I must say. Got a few things to sort on the car but the main thing is a helmet. Anyone know a store in Dunedin I can go try them on?
Honestly guys there is absolutely no issue with being slow. The event is not timed, nor are there prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd etc. I've had a Daihatsu Sirion at two of my events and no one even batted an eyelid.
I would seriously throw my automatic V6 shitter Commodore round the track in a heartbeat given the chance, purely because it'd be fun. You only have to go as fast as you feel comfortable. You're not racing, you're getting the opportunity to drive your car to your limits in a controlled environment.
Thanks to: Makita, Repco, The Warehouse.
Then we are all winners ^^
Think of it as NCEA racing.

Damn I'm hanging out for it! Sounds a lot more layed back than events I have been to in the past, they really focused on the more experienced guys.
Just wondering if the Missus is allowed in the pits with me? Might also see if she wants to ride shotgun if it's allowed for a lap.
