Thread: Personal experience -Best Exhaust places in Auckland

Looking at getting my next ride's exhaust sorted and just wanted help and to help future users/ as well as recommended companies get the business they deserve.

In terms of price, instant availability to do work as well as quality and doing as what you ask-

Best- Spec 2, RSL

Please don't go badmouthing businesses on here, defamation is not something this forum want's to delve into.

Let's rephrase the topic: recommendations only. If people go by others recommendations, you won't run the risk of getting poor work at the supposed 'worst' places.

Had mine done by Spec 2, great work and very reasonable prices

I had a remus exhaust done by Wolf Mufflers just off Domion Road, great service provided, discounted for cash. Several months on no issues with their welds and a great installation fit into moulded bumper.

Modifying Spoons since ages ago.

Wow 'real world experience' really is a very important thing these days - good to see.

I've found Counties Mufflers in Pukekohe to be very good. Not the cheapest but but very good. They even had a custom muffler made through Musket mufflers for a race car to achieve the right result based on hp, rpm and other stuffs. Was also quiet and strong as well which were some of the requirements.

I would have to say spec 2 when they want to is hard to top (ask anyone that saw my modified mugen exhasut on CF4.... you couldnt tell the difference between Mugen and Dhins Tig welds!!

Yep, AJ goes above and beyond. Treats cars like they're his own. I get him to do the majority of any work on my S2000, including the exhausts. He welded stock tips back on to the aftermarket muffler. He's chopped into my hood to fit an air filter. All sorts, and always above par.

Same here, he does all the exhaust work on my Chaser (and all my previous cars). Wouldn't take it to anybody else. Top Bloke and always Top Job

cant go wrong with RSL, SPEC2, Als mufflers and AJ at pitstop Grey Lynn. I've had good experiences with all mentioned workshops

Also recommend Counties Muffler in Pukekohe. Had some work done a couple yeatrs ago now but was fast and at the time the cheapest around..
