Im heading up to Mt Hutt on the 23rd or 24th of July for some whack snowboarding adventures

Hey I could be keen ay ill have to put in early for the day off, but no major, ive got a mate or two who will come along aswell, I have a snowboard and boot's but i might have ta hire some ski's this time round i think, since ive ski'd most of my life, its so much easier, i get sick of falling over on the damn snowboard havent used it enough i got the gist of it okay but was never able to reach the speeds or stopping power i'd usually have with ski's

Me and my mates were talking about going up early august ta september but ill see if they keen to go a wee abit earlier

Yeah no worrie's man will do, ill round everyone up this weekend. ive been looking forward to this winter's ski season theres heaps of snow already , think i might be headn south to the queenstown winter fest at some stage too.

I'd be keen for the odd sunday mission up the hill.
My snowboard setup hasn't seen daylight for 2 years.
Don't like the new lift ticket prices though, $90/day!!!

Main reason for the mid week is most likely less people...

I could be keen for a 2nd trip one weekend tho!

Yeah I'm glad to have a season pass, cause it hurts otherwise, damn weather though cutting into snow time

Yea thats what I have access too, at the start of his season I didnt own a board so thats why I didnt get a pass but maybe next year.

Hey i will have confirmed numbers by this weekend hopefully had 3 or 4 interested with possibly another 2, i cant wait to hit the slope's so much snow this yr. Also if i can get ahold of a friend marcus you live's in methven but works at mt hutt we maybe able to get our hand's on soem cheap lift pass's, ill my do my best!

I made it up there yesterday, (sunday) and although it was a bit icy it was a great day, planning on getting back up this weekend if I can.

Weekend before was even better with fresh snow, but there is some in the forecast for this week so hope that there is some great powder for you over the next couple of days, and for me this weekend!

Weather just got worse ans worse and had to get down before it got too bad. Didnt have chains for Mike's truck.

Hopefully the weather gets better soon and I can get up again. At least I got to use my new board tho!

Yeah the mid week weather has been crap, I have been up there the last 4 weekends in a row now and the weather has been a bit cold on one but other then that it's been great, so much of the lovely white snow!
Hope you make it up there a bit more this season man, some nice snow to hit.

For you lot who came to Hanmer with me, If we can organise a weekend with good weather then we can do a trip to Mt Lyford in the Kiakoura Ranges (40mins from Hanmer) Can get us on the feild for free, you get huge open runs with feck all people and LOTS of powder

Our next boys trip! I have the accommodation in Kaikoura.

Last time I was at Lyford, im damn glad I wasnt using my own board... The rental got some big fukka scratches on it!!
