Where:Historic Village, bottom of the hill 17th ave

First place means we can catch up, meet any new faces, take photos.. the usual buzz.

If enough people are keen, off to tenpin for bowling/or pool and drinks. So if your car isnt up to spec maybe you can show us up in something else

After tenpin if we are still lingering, dinner and more drinks

Yes, when it rains all the diesel film and oil and crap that collects on there from all the trucks transporting fuel, logs, coal from the ports, rises up with the water. It's dangerous, the corners on the matamata side are rated at 55 in good conditions, so as you can imagine in wet conditions it is much less than that. On sunday's the bikers race up there, i know of a guy that can go up the matamata side in the dry with out dropping below 140, which is pretty suicidal, and not recomended.

My old beast of an engine held at 80 - 90 on the way up Matamata side, it's not too bad if your cars got some solidity to it
