| Senior Member 5,000rpm (VTEC Power!) | Re: overheats after a few boosts um check the radiator isnt blocked.. get the tank taken off by a radiator specialist or try flush it yourself with some wynns rad flush.. make sure its bleed properly also could be thermostat not opening? check timing? |

Like just over half could be well over 100C. get a decent temp gauge, and get a decent radiator and fan you should be ok, other than that, maybe check the tune and plug heat range. It might be to retarded and heating up too much |

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | Re: overheats after a few boosts Seriously check this, mine was wired backwards and it was doing exactly what you describe. Easy to do by mistake especially if youve been fucking around with the wiring and adding switches etc. |

Location: Upper Hutt | Re: overheats after a few boosts I had my fan spinning wrong way, just gotta swap the wires on the 3 plugs till you get the fan taking air away from Rad, but honestly, anywhere around half should be OK (on NA Honda) if it goes higher than 2/3, be worried sam
