electrical problem

i dont really know jack about electrics/wiring, and need help with this.
MY battery is connected and everything runs fine, but when i connect the power cable of the amp to the battery, it sparks like crazy and blows the fuse in the amp. What could the problem be?

Fixed, Check the ground is good, and try connecting the positive first and Negative last.

Re: electrical problem

were is the amp located?

if u can run a wire to a bolt and screw it in with it it will be awsome, but if u run it to a place and theres paint over it, chances are it wont work properly.

Re: electrical problem

you need a new battery, this ones most likely fucked.

and it sounds like somethings shorting out, check all the wires for crappy connections, splits in the wiring, etc etc
