Took mine off the other day and it took a wee while to get it to come off. Often having some hanging weight there will help too once it loosens. There should be a small flat steel protusion on the arm to hit on and don't be a pansy these are designed to be bashed. |

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | Re: top ball joint if your car is anything like mine its much easier to undo the strut from the top, the two 14mm nuts rather than the bolt thru the bottom, mine a super uber tight!! plus you need to undo the top two nuts on the strut to drop it down to slip the factory control arm over to get it out, but im guessing you know that allready. the drama ive got is now that its all hanging down i think the cv's have come out, anyone know if i need to remove the boots to ensure everything is tickety boo in there or wha?? |

try lift the hub back up and if the axel and everything slides nicely then its sweet. If when you try to lift it up it just locks and you can't lift anymore, then the CV's are jammed and you will have to take the boot off ![]() | |
