Even then your not going to get much out of it. Not even worth spending the money to be honest. You might aswell swap it out for a vtec sohc at minimum as your would gain more from that than any mods. Horny devils engine would be a good sohc buy if he hasnt sold it. |

I/H/E mods will do u good for quite some times. however, it depends on how much $$$ u want to spend before u get sick of it and realise that u'd better off with vtec. i'd say just tune it so the engine run efficiently so it can help you saving your $$$ for a vtec unit. ![]() |

If your into the whole cosmetic thing then I'd say a d-ninja turbo would be more up your alley than a b-series swap... due to the added "wank factor".

And theres not many "cheep" mods you can do to that engine that'll give you good power. IMO his best bet is to save the money for a b or h serries engine that responds more to mods. Look at Jase - he spent a shitload on his D serries and it made the same power as a b18c. (IT was mean seeing a D screaming its nuts off, and i know he wanted to be different so im not bagging him here) |

Location: Wellington | Re: How 2 get maxium performance from a D16a Apologies for the potential thread hi-jack. But with the D16 and ZC's being from the same family, would their mounts be the same? Primarily the engine mounts, but gearbox too? Would your (Jases) engine bolt up to an L3 ZC box? Cheers Dan |

![]() Again no offence here, but if you have to sell your bonnet to pay some ACC fines off, then are you in the position to actually spend money on your car?
