Ba5 'lude keeps cutting out???

Hi all,saw the Performance car show and saw there is a NZ honda site, good plan!!
I myself am an old 280zx addict,im on my fifth one at the moment, but i cant complain about any hondas ive owned, except this one, lol.
87 4wsi,ba5,inj,PITA
Now and again after running and usual driving it will not start, almost sounds like fuel,as i can hear it spark and catch, but it dies, and if left for a few mins it will start again. But as of yesterday,it wouldnt start again,so i turned on the key and listened for any clicks from under the dash, and there was,but a few too many for me to follow and play with in the westgate carpark with no phillips and a headache. So i gave a few relays under the dash a flick or two,the red relay, and a small black one next to it.The car started fine,we moved to another shop(too lazy to walk),and when i turned it off i thought "bugger".When we went to retsart it,ning, not a thing, just winded over. After a few minutes,i thought id hold the key on and run the selector thru the gears at the same time, and it started straight away....
Now you see my dillema, lol.I have no clue what it could be,i think its a relay,as ive never seen so many in a car.
Is there anyone here that can save me some sanity, and maybe a little hair also.
Thanks in advance, and cheers for making a site where kiwis can deal with kiwis, good work guys, someones thinking straight, wish it was me

its to do with the auto Box, the Dash/ingition setup stuff isnt recognising that the gearbox is in Park, so just move the shifter around and it should start every time.

NB. i give no guarantee that it will

Yea, next time it does it do what aazaa suggested and move it through the gears then back to park or neutral and see if it starts, if it dosnt, then bang like u did under the dash.

Could also be the fuel relay which its above the coin tray drivers side - well pull the coin tray out exposing the fuse box and its a brown thing towards one side..

but yea, do the shifting of the gears first to eliminate that...
