NEED HELP!!! SPRING INSTALLATION PROBLEM !!!

Ok, for the last few hours tonight i have been trying to install my new lowering springs, but it hasnt really workd to plan, it think ive fuct somthing up . Got any ideas.

it doesnt help when i really dont know the names of most of the parts but hear goes

I have taken out the shock and spring, i replaced it with the lowering spring, i have tried to stick it back together but its not working!

there is an arm that comes off the back of the disc/hub when i try and put that back into the "U" shaped thing around where the top of the shock would be i cant even tilt it towards it. have a look at the picture below it might help. i cant even tilt the disc in towards the engine, it feels like the "ball joint" thing is jamd, i have just seen the boot around the ball joint is completely fuct. Please i need help.

I dont know if this helps when i go around to the other side ( the right hand side) of the car and spin the wheel it rotates the the disc on the otherside (left/drivers side) , but when i spin the disk on the side im working (left/drivers) on it doesnt spin the wheel on the other right hand side of the car

And also when you stick the car in gear you can still spin the disc on the drivers/left side, but you cannot do it on the otherside.

Hope this makes sense, im pritty tired.

here is a picture of the arm and what im trying to push it towards,
the shock is out and i still cant do it!!

I was told this was a fairly easy job that is why i have given it a go

How come you popped the ball joint? Because the boot was stuffed?

You didn't need to undo the ball joint. Maybe some pics on here will help:

uve proabaly puled it out so far that the drive shaft has come out and the bearings have popped out and its misaligned u have to give it a wiggle, or take the bottom ball joint out and start over...dunno why u took the top balljoint off tho

oh wtf did u do that for
ya just unbolt the fork that connects to the shock and remove that and then it should just drop out
The way to do that would be to put a jack under the disk and hold it up whilst pushing it back up
when the car drops down
the pressure will pop it back up
