Yep, they did all come out with twin tips, so I'm guessing that your's has replaced at some point, probably due to having holes in it or whatever.

If the stickers are anything like me friend's gfs corolla ones they had to pay $40 for new factory FX-Zi stickers. And they haven't even bothered to put them on! (Don't ask why they bought them at all, too long and too complicated!)

I know for a fact that some early DA8's (and most probably DA6 as well) came with single pipes from the muffler, and having a a Y junction leading to two tips, this is solely for aesthetics afaik.. and they are prone to rattling.. so like others said its probably been replaced at some point to a single tip

Yep my DA8 has a Y adaptor into twin tips, I'm guessing they're all like that because of the design of the muffler.

alot of Da6 tegs get rusted exhaust, mine has started to rust at the back by the tip, so people replace them and opt for a cheaper tip, so that could be it......one sure way to check if it is vtec is to just check the motor or the rear winscreen for DOHC VTEC 8)

The ZX came with single pipes I think, fuel injected DA's came with two.

My '90 XSi came with twin pipes from the back muffler.

ZXs definitely came with single pipes. I think it's a similar story to the EF civics.
