Shaming approach? They won't think that. They will be like "fuk yeh bo, I be mad reppin' mah thugz' au!!". Unless you put them in those head/arm lock things and have a thing of eggs/rotten veges for people to throw at them... or allow people to drive their cars into them. I'd use them for sighting in my rifles.

Rehabilitation doesn't work for many of the severe cases; it is deeply built in to their human behaviour. The nature of a psychopath.

Condolances to that family... unbelieveable situation.
These murders didn't just happen. They all started with people making lots of small bad choices. That's why small crimes need to be hit hard and not let people get away with things, until it's too late and they do something really serious.

Re: Boy sees mother robbed, run over

Yea always at pak n save like my ex girl friends mum. Open door took bag and ran. That bag was loaded from money from there bakery to go to the bank also... Dumb thing is that there were tones of people around that just stand there while they see a asian woman chase them...

Similar incident happened to my sister a few months back at the Pak n Sav carpark which is only a few minutes from there. She had just finished her shopping and went back and sat in her car when some low life c*nt tried to open her door and snatch her bag that was in the passenger seat! Luckily for her, locking the doors straight after we get in the car is a common practice in our house hold now.

I say 1+ for the asian justice system. A fortnight ago when I was still back in VN for my holiday I was at the local markets when there was this young guy that tried to steal some random crap from one of the stalls. As soon as the owner found out what was going on he quickly grabbed some random chain (bike chain??) and whipped the f*cker in the leg so he couldn’t walk away. What was more amazing was how all the other stall owners around there worked in a group and started giving the guy a good beating.

I swear to god this happened for a good 5 minutes with a crowd gathering and having a go at him before the cops came. Im pretty sure that guy learnt a lesson that day, and whats worst (or better I should say), when the cops came he got another beating from them.

+1 For the system there
-1 For NZ system.

Re: Boy sees mother robbed, run over

there is a possibility that they burnt the car that was used in the bag snatch..

(well an identical car was found burnt out in manukau) and the only reason why youd burn out a post 2000 car is if it was waay too hot to strip for parts..

just been confirmed it is the vehicle and it was a stolen vehicle.. taken from GI!.. did a fair bit of traveling to get to manukau then..

Saw the photos of the car in the parking lot from survailance cameras.... all I have to say is this.... WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF CAMERAS IF YOU CAN'T EVEN READ A PLATE NUMBER? Yes you heard me well..... police couldn't read the plate number......

Theyre fuckin losers. 10/7 made me cry when they interviewed that man that got bashed and nearly died, now has to live with such injuries that has left him brain damaged and unable to support his family let alone string a sentance together. So unfair..

Yeah, it was pretty sad alright, although it turned to frustration/anger when they interviewed those "gangsters" (Al Capone would turn his his grave...). Perhaps the sentence should be automatically doubled for anyone with connections to a criminal gang, and parole denied....

Back OT though, i think 3 dudes have been arrested so far, 2 for attempting to burn the getaway car, and 1 other guy i think as the driver.

They found the womens handbag at the house they raided in Otara.

Re: Boy sees mother robbed, run over

So is anyone still against cops carrying fully loaded handguns?

I'm pretty sure 90% of the time they will be used correctly. I can't believe the amount of 'decent' talking to that crims get here.

I'm just so used to:
When someone is suspected to have stolen a car.. pull out weapon, disable safety, leave trigger finger at the trigger guard and ask the suspect to get out of the vehicle.

You don't exchange pleasantries with suspects. They have their rights and that should be enough. None of this, "G'day mate, blah blah blah nice guy talk. You'll have to come to the station with me. Hop on to the back seat."

too nice. nice is old.
