Ive just changed the setting to 10750 on the menu and set it scanning for the channels. Just out of interest freeview comes from the same satiltle as sky correct?

The default satellite is the Sky Optus 1 i believe but if you do abit of googling you can actually get russian satellites and pretty much any other's you just have to know whether to point it Nth Sth Est Wst type thing and what degree angle to have it at. Problem is have to get to the dish and manually change it i only knwo this because we sell the dish and mounting kit's for freeview aswell. | |

| Senior Member 7,000rpm (Peak Power) | Re: freeview problem hmm i might have to look into a freeview box as we have a sky satellite on the roof doing nothing. since it was pointing the right way for sky, would it be fair to say that it wouldnt need to be adjusted for freeview? or are they totally different satellites/whatnot

I have an inbuilt UHF antenna that runs throughout the house, unfortunately the un-used sky dish is on the other side of the house from my room... |
