Oh of course the money sucks in the NRL, compared to what one can earn elseware. And I agree that they need to sort their shit before more players see the $$ and want out. I'm just saying that if hes under contract to play for the Bulldogs, then just jumping country to sign elseware wasn't the best idea. Now hes got to deal with the Australian Supreme Court ordering him home for a hearing What if he can't sign in France for some reason? The way he dramatically exited the NRL hasn't done wonders for his career and reputation

Thats horse shit, he's been loyal to them for so long, good on him for heading over to play union. His choice, he was getting underpaid with the dogs, SBW does have a way around it throught the salary cap i was reading in todays herald.

But its his choice he wants to play union if thats his desire let him do it, ok he shouldnt up and left like he did, but as judd said he regreted it, but the media makes a feild day with this situation.

Hopefully Tana can groom him for union would be good to see how he goes.

I did, hence my statement as my opinion. With all due respect to say that the bulldogs looked after him the time he was there is highly questionable. From what ive been told from a friend who is close to SBW now plays for the bunnies, said that while SBW had an injury the dogs were rushing for him to get back to playing other than his well being long term.

Im not debating that its pointless having a contract, however, there's more than we really know about the management and SBW. Its easy to speculate some sort of judgement based on media facts.

Crunch time of the NRL season fullas!!! Whos going to make the cut? Warriors should beat Souths on saturday night, they look a different team from 4-6 weeks ago and at the same time they could come crashing back to reality by losing against them dam Rabbits, and all there work in the last month will be undone and will mean nothing, Ridgey will be bleating off again in the Sunday News about how crap the Warriors management is and how the team needs to be coached better blahblahblah anyway, the Storm could do us a huge favour by beating the Titans, and Broncos should walk the Raiders. So that will put the boys in 8th spot and 2pts ahead of the 9th team. Then they just got to keep winning. And its just as cramped at the top of the table, I reckon Manly are just looking to good at the mo, even after a few losses in the last month, the only team I can really see on top of the table other than them would be the Storm.... mmmmm beer.

Re: SBW saga

Just a little info for those who didn't know,but SBW actually took a pay cut (maybe last year or the year before) so that the Bulldogs could keep a few (5 I think) of his core friends who played for the Doggies (Mason,Asatasi,Anasta and a couple others...) and not go over the salary cap.

And what happens?All of them leave,and SBW is left with a pay cut (reportedly on $200k/year after pay cut) and none of his friends playing in the team,especially Mason who was a huge mentor and role model for SBW.

To be honest I think he made the right decision,although I wish he had atleast kept playing Rugby League.

Anyways,GOT THE WARRIORS!

Hope the Raiders loose today. Then the bottom half of table pretty much stays as it is. Which will give the Warriors another chance. Kind of inconsistant, last week they beat the 2007 Premiers and this week they loose to the Rabbitohs.
