Could the job have been on that road, flashing lights and sirens are great warning signals for criminals. There are times where it seems that cops are being unlawful but there is usally a good reason behind their actions.

Back on topic..

Police should be charged according to the law just like anyone else. The fact that they are police shouldn't mean they get either lesser or harsher penalties, it should be assessed like any criminal action or traffic violation.

They're fucking human afterall.

It hasn't been disclosed if they were on duty or off duty either e.g personal or company car.
