Location: Otaki | *Ouch* OK will take it under advisement, yep price is a big factor so I won't be going much higher on the Ford. The walk through is what appeals for my needs. Loving the Scania of course and I have been looking at Canters, not a mad Ford fan either. Quote:

| Senior Member 8,000rpm (B Series Redline!) | Dont go near a Canter, they are utter shit!!!!! Dad worked on them in the late 80's and said he'd never even think of owning one. Nothing wrong with the traders, we have one on bin duties and the poor thing gets a fucking hiding. Only stuff we have done on it have been gear shifter cables (did one this afternoon), couple o oil leaks, diff bearings and a speedo cable. It gets shit all day every day and comes back wanting more. The Isuzus are also great, we have 5 in the fleet with 2 having done 1.1 million kms. Only problems we find with the little 3 tonner is the gear shifter linkages are tight but other than that it is excellent. On another note: Looked at a Kenworth T404 yesterday, wouldnt wanna be a big boy driving one of them, might not get in the bloody door they're that small! |

Location: Otaki | I missed a decent Isuzu last week, before this all came together. Drove a Canter delivering eggs for a couple of years, the largest engine in the chassis apparently, not the fastest truck up the Ngauranga Gorge but OK to drive, heavy on diesel I thought. Am I right in thinking the Ford at 1994 model is Mazda based or is it still specifically Ford? Edit* nice background pic ^^
