Location: Auckland | **Oxfam Trailwalker - PLEASE DONATE 4 CHARITY** hey guys, this weekend myself and a few other are doing the Oxfam trailwalker its a 100km treck around taupo and we have 36 hours to do it. to enter we have to raise about $2000 - $3000 dollars. the proceeeds to go towards helping unfortunate families around the world especially kids. donations would be greatly appreciated even if it's only $10, it doesnt have to be a lot if u cant afford it imagine how far even $10 goes for a third world country? pretty far!! heres a link below about the race and Oxfam http://www.oxfam.org.nz/events/OTW07_434 i know alot of the NZhonda member are awesome people i hope everyone can just even give a little bit, becasue a little goes a long way thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() |

awesome as scenary, we went 650m above sea level at the highest point. also walked through the "craters of the moon" which was awesome! steam just comes out of the ground and craters. a couple of the legs were insanly tough! we totally nderestimated the race and didnt train enough after 17 hours and (57.5km) @ 1.30am sunday morning our team couldnt go any further, our bodies couldnt take it. my knee had given up on me and was in the so much pain it was unbearable! it was as if someone was stabbing my knee with a knife. might still do it next year, but will train for atleast 10 months, you have to get your body used to it. | |
