Where will you be in 5 years from now?

Hey people,
was just wondering where you want/hope to be in 5years from now?I know it's a long time away, hence the reason for me asking.

I hope to either be in Australia working with some form of motorsport (V8 Supercars 8) ) as a mechanic, or be back here in NZ with a steady job in a workshop or race garage.
I hope to have a house..with morgage in tow somewhere in either Auckland or somewhere in Oz.
I hope to have a motorbike for a weekender and a nice V8 powered MarkII for during the week.
I'll only be 23 in 5years time so these goals might be ambisious but what the hell 8)

I used to think the same thing when I was 18... I'm now 20... And with house prices where they are now (and set to rise) I may not be any closer when I'm 25.

You fly? I used to Wish I still could

As for myself - I want to live on a remote tropical island, away from the bullshit of modern life

Realistically:
- Living in a newly built house on the back of our section, with two, maybe 3 kids (first one arrives next week) and a couple of cats. Rachel also wants a dog but I'm buggered if I'm walking a West Highland terrier.
- Probably still working in my current job but with a different title, although our side business should almost be at the point where I can quit by then.
- Owing over a million dollars in debt and not caring.
- On the down-hill run to 40 and caring a little bit.
- Driving a crappy-looking old ute that will run 11s or better, with a small TBA-model Honda for a daily driver.
- Planning my next move.
- Oh and probably still studying part-time for my degree. 7 years and counting...

I said this a couple of years ago..
http://nzhondas.com/phpBB2/girls-aga...orillas#153519

Realistically, the goal posts of life have been shifted on me so many times that I gave up wishing/wanting/hoping for certain future events. I live in the now.
It's not neccessarily a wise way to be, but it's a way I've learned to deal with the severe ebbing and flowing of my life, heh

Laying off public servants by day(10am-3pm, of course, to avoid the 5pm congestion at the helicopter port). Hosting my TV show "Hainsworth Intimidates" once a week, and famously reducing both Helen Clark and Titewhai Harawira to tears, in the same episode. Hopefully driving a restored 1967 Honda S800 on weekends, accompanied by an incredibly attractive woman, who is a master of intelligent conversation, who won't sacrifice her body to have children, and living in an architectural masterpiece on the waterfront in Paremata with an unfenced swimming pool, a barn full of old and interesting cars, and a kitchen with an five oven AGA stove for the wife to work her culinary magic on. All whilst still finding time to be interviewed about my cancer heartbreak in Woman's Day.

At my age just to be ALIVE in 5 years will be a bonus

But yeah, having changed the world by then it would be nice to retire by a nice quiet beach somewhere with surf, sun and maybe other s-words. My NZHondas post count will be 153, 526.
