Im guessing about the $2800-$3000 mark as an absolute rough guess with no research.

worth a bit mor ethan 3k, depends how old it is? if it was new in the box and u could give a warrenty would be worth big pingas, sony vaio's are pretty sort after, sony nz sold out of the last range but the new ones have just came into stock, easyest way bro is to get the model number off the back and ring ur local noel leemings and they will tap it into the computer and spit u out what they sold for, dont try any of the other big retailers noels have a pretty much exclusive on vaio's

Shit that sounds like a pretty sweet prize! Do you mind me asking what sort of competition you won it in?

thats a really high end model and most places wont stock it as u never sell them, like never, but they are all loaded into the system,
so just give them a model number, i looked on the sony site yesterday and they retailed for 5999 i think it was,
