Wot does 12000 rpm look like?

Just saw this about a K20A motor that was revved to 12,000rpm.

i have to say, on reading that thread, that the type-s gearbox must be shit as, because there are 4 guys who have done the same by accidently hittin 2nd instead of 4th

I think it has more to do with the fact Americans can't drive "stick" (as they say).

I mean come on, it's not that hard to get the correct gear (although I will admit I've got 4th instead of 6th in the old mans S15 a couple of times, more from not paying attention than anything).
