Good tattoo places in Auckland?

Yeah the topic says it all im loking to get a tattoo and wanna know if theres anywhere to avoid or anywhere that kicks ass, cheers. What tattos do you guys/girls sport anyhow?

Dermagraphic did the eagle on my shoulder, great job.
Tatu (( think that's how they spell it, it's Rob Krause's place) on K'Road did the lion on my back, also great job.

go outa auckland and you will pay alot less

i got my lizard on my shoulder done in hastings here for $240 i saw the same thing in aucks and asked about it and got quoted nearly $700 8O

the tattooist said that they just cant compete with places out of auckland

Is that pic/tattoo actually you?

I wanna get something tribal, been to ballistic a few times with friends it seems like a pretty good place. Colored tattoos are the expensive ones right? I just wanna get straight black no shading. Also I wanna get it on my forearm, is that one of the more painful areas?
