WTD hks 40mm wastegate spring 5.7 - 8 psi

im after a 40mm hks modle 13b 5.7 - 8 psi spring from my turbo da6. im finding it quite hard to get a spring. i even had a custome one made but turnd out to be wrong. im going to get my car tuned soon (next 2 or 3 weeks) and i dont want to use a cut spring (ive also seen one exactly the same but with the tail stamp)
spring mesurements
50mm wide. and about 90mm to 100mm high

mate - please edit your post topic to be more discriptive!!!

I think you will struggle to find any spring for that gate....

does it use the same spring as a tial gate? if so i have a 7psi one (tial 38mm)

Tial one won't fit...

that 5mm could be the diff between 7 psi and 20psi though.

also the width of the actual spring material at the base will dictate if it fits in the spring base or not.

yea you are right, but ide rather try this then buy a new gate. ive tryed f.b.i, lighting, in hamilton they could not get one either.
ive asked heeps of people on trademe too. Ive even had a custom one made that turned out to be wrong.
im kinda stuck, and i need somtink better then a high boost spring cut in half.
if this dose not work i will end up purching a new gate
