I read in that article that the laptop software isn't in english.
FC datalogit, isn't that 3rd party for power FC?
and as blizard said doesn't have access to all features

As far as I'm aware it is in English, not talking about datalogit that is 3rd party yes.

hmm maybe that article was crap that I read?
they mention that only selected tuners have the laptop software, and it's JDM speak
So you are forced to use the eftpos tuner that would be a bastard to tune quickly with for people not used to it.
Might need Jacky or blizard to comment.

Yes only genuine Apexi Dealers are supposed to have the Power excell software. It unlocks a ton of features I am guessing the ozzie tuna doesn't have it.

Soichi at ST-hitec has it most likely the only person in NZ with the genuine excell software. Nissan PFC's certainly do have air temp correction.

Not sure why you think hondata would be faster PFC's are essentially chipped factory computers, they come ready to run your factory car.

They are very different to a factory ECU, full stand alone ECU MUCH different to factory. Have a look inside one
Apexi just have made tuned maps to factory cars thats all.

but is handy and easy to use plug in a go !
And is cheap for wat it is


use to be over $2500 new retail


Thats why i run Motec and EMS . . .
A Motec M4 or a EMS Stinger will be alot better
I can have one computer to run different car too



Excel has tones of feature?? errr right . . .


You can do with Datalogit is enough to tune just as well as a excel

just that it doesnt have 3D maping display and tune table like excel

there is still a line graph that u can use and pretty much the same thing




ST has the jap Version on Excel, coz ST showed Andre many moons ago and let him use it but then they got hold of a eng version...... coz of company connection or hook ups
Andre still use datalogit

but i have seen english one aswell..

Also there is FC Commander Pro that u can buy . . . . . but it only reads wat the commander reads but on a laptop and can log the data of that



Long as it tunes the car and makes power and no issues is all it matters

Good to have Power Fc but better with FC Datalogit, coz with the commander you can only adjust the correction map and there wont be any dataloging
