dc2 exhaust onto eg

I've got a exhaust system off a dc2, and im wanting it fitted to a eg hatchback civic
i understand that the exhaust mid pipe will bolt up fine, but the rear section of the exhaust will need to be shorten to fit a eg? is this correct?

and how much should i be looking at for this to be done? rung around but there all telling me to bring my car in, which is understandable but having no exhaust system i dont want to tow it

pretty much needs flange welded and resonator welded in for mid pipe, and rear section of exhaust shorten, or a new rear section made up...

Re: dc2 exhaust onto eg

why not just put the b section on then drive? i think the only way to get the muffler in the right place and work back to the flange but they would need the car for that.

or just dummy fit it then you will see how much need to be off

Re: dc2 exhaust onto eg

i think luke is quite busy as he hasn't replied back to my pm
with the mid pipe i need to get the flange welded in first before i can bolt it up to the car, would prefer to get it all done in one go as it would be easier, if not then guess this is the only option

Re: dc2 exhaust onto eg

i think, u can use mid-pipe okay. bolt on kind of thing. but the end bit, muffler is not directly bolt on. from the looks, its kinda too long at the tip... i might be wrong tho.

but, ek9 one will bolt on to ur eg.
