check on pgmfi.org or ask Ben. I know all the OBD1 stuff but not OBD0. Check nzhondas, hondatech or the service manual for what the TPS voltage should be closed and open. I would take the TPS %age with a grain of salt tho, i.e in my car it goes up to 110% for some reason??? the most important thing is it reads 0% at idle, otherwise your injectors won't cut off throttle and tuning will be a bitch because it will be in the wrong cells. on cold start high idle it will be in 2-3 or 3-4 until it warms up. then it should idle in columns 1-2 Another problem if its idling up in 3-4 or more at idle, is your motor is not getting enough compression. Check for a vacuum leak or valve clearance adjustment or compression check. Went to tune a car 2 weeks ago that had all the valve clearance wrong and wasn't getting any vaccum on idle | |

If i give it bit of gas then let off the gas fast it drops down to col 1 for like 2 secs with vac of 24inhg. WOT col 13-14, tps 100% vac 0.21 psi and afr or 13.2. Wide band sniffer was stuck on end of exhaust and wont be the greatest because of exhaust leaks. Guess ill try fixing the intake gaskets first because Iv had the manifold and tb off a few times and reused the old gasket. + my map isnt hooked up the best just has screws on some of the random vac pipes that went to auto box. I know valve clearance is a bit on the lose side because I was unsure what value to use for CTR cams so i used the low recommended amount in the helms manual. That will give me something to do tomorrow if the weather is fine. |

If you watch your inj pulse you will see it cut out to 0ms when you let off the gas. If the tps voltage is not set to 0.45-0.5V at closed you will see negative values. I think 0V ~ -11% or something. Just replay you logs and you can watch to see if your hitting between 0% and 100% TPS. As for your idling columns, I think yours sounds OK. Mine is normally in the columns 3-4 but it will probably depend on what your idle speed is or whether you still have any idle control let (unlike me), or if the car is cold/hot. Also the vac values on the columns in BRE are quite different to the ones in crome, so you can't really compare column numbers. I get about 20inHg at idle too btw.

Re did all the intake gaskets and got the vac up to 21inhg, My idle control and cold idle up are both pritty much removed. just the idle control is left plugged in to stop a cel. Idles around 900 warm and 1000 cold. Thats with the idle screw on the tb fully closed lol. WOT afr seems to be a bit richer now, around the 12.9 mark. Which should be a bit more healthy. Need to get some new spark plugs then take it for a thrash and see what they look like afterwards. |

(bit of an art in it self and I have never bothered with it, I just use the dyno and watch power power/torque increases) |
