N00b exhaust q: make quieter?

its the same design at fit as your old ef9 Marc, think its got 1 reso up front and a rear muffler, exiting left rear angle

hey there, im not too sure how much space you have under the rear, but im using a 2 1/2" full mandrel bent stainless system from 4-1 headers, 1 long resonator in the middle and a ford falcon oval style muffler with 2 1/2" inlet outlet, cost bout $80, resonator bout $50. quiet as a mouse while cruising!!!! nice note up the back when accelerating and still "cracks and pops" on the limiter, but is nice and muted. i would go with this again.

went with a large diameter pipe because i wanted to run a quiet muffler but not loose too much performance. there is a small noticable difference between running the rear muffler and not, but i prefer it with the muffler, good fuel economy too. no hassles from the pigs, flys thru a WOF.
