Dont get me wrong you could make some gains.

But its the $$$$ vs the gains

Very, Very nice looking intake manifold - shame does'nt perform as well as it looks.

But hey your happy its all that matters!!!

Careful Kane - don't spread misinformation. On certain set ups, certain parts will make power, lose power, or yield no power - it all depends on the application. Secondly he might not be in it for immediate results - it might be for 'breathing room'.

But I am sure he did the research first!

Read my post above yours.

Like I said, in my first post I more judged the comment on the fact that MANY people check any Honda forum, have tried the Skunk2 one and say it hasn't worked out for them on NA cars, Many with Only IHE done or less - with and with out a tune.

In some cases it does gain power but not the best mod I believe If I/H/E has been done. BANG FOR BUCK WISE.

I see he has some more things Cams, Cam Gears and Vafc to play with so the Intake Manifold "Could" work out alright for him.

Ive seen many good result's from the intake manifold on boosted cars though.

Sounds like the OP might have boost later on in the "works" so it work out mint as later on down the track.

I say he spent with that Intake Manifold + Throttle Body in the $1000mark +

I would thought your Blox Package would done a better job if he was wanting to gain more power. Or even a s300.

Yet has Cams etc already.

So OP please post some dyno graphs of when you get it tune.

Even better if you could do a before and after with the intake manifold.

Only way to tell is add cam gears+cams and vafc2 and dyno with old intake mani and TB and then put on new intake and TB and dyno.

I doubt you can be bothered doing that piece at a time. So you will never know what it gained.

on pumpins eg we put a skunk 2 replica manifold and a 64mm throttle on a stock b18c with IHE and dropped quarter mile times from 14.4 to 14.0.

it is also portmatched to the head though...??

I believe it will gain power, even more-so with cams  most probably not on a stock engine though.

yeah its port matched. it came out of the box with a 64mm hole. we measured it and went 'sweet that will do' and bolted it on. the throttle is a b16a one that i got bored out.

edit: just re read your post. its not really port matched to the head. the bit where the fuel injectors sit was like a b16a so we got out the die grinder and made it look like the manifold gasket we were using. the throttle body IS port matched to the manifold. it came like that from the factory.
