Location: Christchurch | Speedlab make a good B16A chip  Had one in my EF9. Revlimit is 8500 (slightly higher than factory), no speed cut, and the map gives a lot better fuelling and ignition. Made a huge difference.

Location: Tauranga | Must have been just right for your car aye ![]() Every car is different, i guess your gains were in the ignition department as you could only guess the ignition and fuel. Have seen the same thing on nissans when putting a performance angels chip in. Much different ignition timing and gives GOOD power increases like 10KW or more. Sometimes 20KW. Then you play with the fuel to get that bang on. Just throwing in a chip into a car is pretty crude, you should tune any chip you put in a car I think. |

Location: Christchurch | Yea, I also have a VAFC, so could fine tune the fuelling - but it seemed fine. Plugs didn't show any signs of running too lean or rich.
