Chipping an ECU?

Anyone know of a professional company/ person that can INSTALL/ SOLDER a custom chip into an ecu local to Auckland?

I know you can do it yourself; although it is risky and an expensive mistake!

If there are any write ups on it or contact details please link me.

It'l help me and a friend.
Cheers

the problem ull find is trying to track down a surface mounted IC that is needed for the JDM cases. from what i found u cant get these in NZ.

the soldering bit is easy and isnt the least bit risky if u know what ur doing

thats the writeup i followed

Contact Tarmac on the forums. He wrote my chip, and I believe can also offer installation services - I purchased a socketed ECU so it is just a matter of plugging the chip in.

chipping its the easy bit, if its a JDM ecu its tracking down the surface mounted IC thats the hard bit.

US cases are easy as they use through hole IC's instead of surface mounted ones
