you will find ebay is almost always cheaper

beyond quoted a mate over $1600 for pistons and rods and i just found the exact same set for just under $1100 nz landed

the only thing you have to watch out for is alot of places wont ship here so make sure you ask them before you buy

I'd suggest doing some research on the OBX stuff, from what I hear it's not too great. And it's more of a hassle if you have a problem when the seller is overseas compared to a local one.

dont buy OBX

i got my stuff from horsepowerfreaks.com

but in my opinion unless ur going the turbo route dont bother with a NA D15 or D16 its not really worth the money. been there done that.

just put in a B18C and be done with it

yea just look at the amount of money trench rat has put into his 1600 to get it where it is ,where he could have turbo'd 4-5 engines with that .
but on the other hand hes got the originality part where how many NA ZC's do you know of making that kind of power

unless your very dedicated to your engine and want the most possible out of it and moeny doesnt matter then go with NA otherwise turbo it or throw in something bigger like horny devil said above 8)

i did purchased a brand new twin loop exhaust from ebay during mid year, shipping was reasonable, cost $200 all up plus shipping and only took two weeks to arrive. I guess you have to find the buyer with good feedback.

Yea, definatly... When I was researching the OBX turbo (cause it was cheap) I also found that a few have had problems with OBX cams eating away at their rockers...

Dont bye OBX.

OBX gears is generally regaurded as crap ask around, people have had problems with all sorts of things from them - welds craking on headers, turbos fucking out and as said above cams destroying rockers.

save up abit more and buy quality - better yet take the advice given and save for an engine conversion - B series for ease and cost effective power.
H series if you are real serious
